The ultimate kids’ club guide.

If you’re anything like us, all you need for a good day by the pool are sunglasses, sunscreen, and a book or a podcast. Kids aren’t quite so easily entertained, but fortunately for us, Privilee Members can make the most of complimentary access to brilliant kids’ clubs. While you work on your tan or get lost in a podcast, your youngsters will be making friends (and arts and crafts).

Here are all the kids’ clubs in Qatar that parents will love just as much as kids.

Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha

The ultimate daycation location, Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha has it all, whether you’re looking for a relaxing day at the beach with a book or a family day out.

As a Privilee Member, you can do both, as kids aged 5 - 13 will be looked after at the Kunuz Kids’ Club while you explore the rest of the hotel (kids under 5 can access the kids’ club if accompanied by a parent or Nanny). There, youngsters will have great fun trying arts and crafts, soft play equipment and games.

We did say Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha has everything, and that includes its very own waterpark. At Wadi Lusail Waterpark, there are water fountains for kids to play in, several thrilling slides and different play areas, including a huge tipping bucket.

Options for older kids include the teens’ club and the Aloha Surf Club, where they will get to catch waves on a boogie board in a controlled board under the watchful eye of trained staff.

Wondering what you can get up to while your kids have all that fun? Well, you can relax by one of the hotel’s pools or along the sandy shores of the private beach, or level up your R and R by booking in for a treatment at ESPA Life Spa with 10% off.

Plus, you can try restaurants like healthy spot Wyld Erth or go for afternoon tea at Peacock Alley, with a 10% discount for you and three guests. And when you’re reunited with the little ones, make a beeline for contemporary brasserie Bywater, which has a special kids’ menu of classics like hot dogs, burgers and spaghetti bolognese plus banana split.

InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa

You and your kids will have a fantastic time at InterContinental’s Kids’ Playroom, which is open to youngsters under 12 accompanied by either a parent or a Nanny.

Our favourite part has to be the ball pit, where your little ones will have a ball of a time (all puns intended). Aside from the ball pit, there are puzzles and lego for you to play with, as well as all the latest game consoles for those bigger kids.

Once you’ve tired yourselves out with playroom fun, you can head over to Mykonos for Greek food to share, complete with a special kids’ menu and a discount of 20% for Privilee Members.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski

If you need something to keep little ones busy when you Privilee at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, they can head over to the Titan Tikes Playroom, which is aimed at kids aged 4 - 12. Infants below this age can access the playroom but will need to be accompanied by a parent. The colourful playroom has fun activities in every corner, from arts and crafts and books to foosball and toy cars. For older kids, there are video game consoles, too.

Whilst the kids are entertained, you’ll be able to find a poolside spot that’s perfect for you, with a number of pools to choose from at Marsa Malaz (including a large whirlpool bath!).

Looking for kid-friendly dining? Fun for all the family is guaranteed at Public House Doha, which has board games, cards and a photoboth to enjoy. The menu is great for all ages, with classics like mozzarella sticks, curly fries, pasta and pizza, as well as an all-day breakfast menu – all of which Privilee Members will get 20% off.
