I’ve heard such amazing things about The Ned Doha and was so excited to hear that the hotel has joined Privilee Infinite. Being the first of its kind in the Middle East, with sister locations in New York and London, I knew I was in for a unique experience!
Hotel hotspot
As soon as I stepped foot into The Ned Doha, I was transported to a world of retro vibes, 70's glamour, and quirky vintage charm. The hotel is packed with personality, with Instagrammable moments waiting to be captured at every turn. The plush seating, dim lighting, and wooden finishes added to the hotel's cosy ambience, making me feel at home.
Breakfast time
My friend and I arrived at about 10am and wanted breakfast before we headed to the pool. Aside from the stunning interiors, The Ned Doha is a must-visit for foodies and I was looking forward to trying a few of their restaurants.
Starting the day with breakfast at Millie's Lounge was a treat. With a menu bursting with options, from fresh juices to British classics and Middle Eastern delights, choosing was no easy feat. I opted for the French toast with berries compote and vanilla cream, while my friend indulged in the Full English breakfast. She said it tasted just like what she would have in the UK!
Poolside afternoons
After eating a little too much at breakfast, my friend and I strolled over to the pool, located in the courtyard on the ground floor of the hotel. The setting is stunning! So chic and the attention to detail is unbelievable - it brings the brand's fun and playful personality to life. From the lush plants and green-striped sun loungers to the buildings’ architecture surrounding you, it doesn’t feel like you’re in Doha.
The pool was fairly quiet as it was a Wednesday afternoon, we chose two loungers in the sun so we could top up our tans. 10/10 recommend for comfiness - these are super cushioned and great to lay on!
It was sunny by the pool, however, it was nice that there were some shaded areas due to the building's architecture. You get a mix of both the sun and shade!
Snacks in the sunshine
Later on in the day, we were ready for a few snacks and drinks as we began to get hungry after breakfast. All food and drinks served at The Ned’s pool come from Malibu Kitchen, which is on the same level. This is nice as you can choose to dine at Malibu Kitchen or order from the menu to your sun lounger.
As we weren’t too hungry we ordered a few small bits to share: Sweet potato fries, sea bass ceviche, scallops, and quinoa & courgette flatbread. All of the dishes were tasty - we both mentioned how fresh the fish was - perfect on a warm day. On that note, as it was warm, I fancied a refreshing and fruity drink. I went for the Desert Rose - a blend of hibiscus, rose and orange. So good!

Wind down
As our day by the pool came to an end, I decided to treat myself to a massage at The Ned Spa. Privilee Infinite Members save 15% on treatments, after all.
I was so glad I did as it was just what I needed and the ideal way to end such a lovely day. I picked the 60-minute Balinese Massage and left feeling so refreshed and re-energised. The therapist was a true expert and the spa is gorgeous.
